I highly doubt that Shannen would have purposely stopped the Charmed DVD's from coming out. While she doesn't like to talk or think about Charmed, she does know that she has a lot of fans who really loved her on it. For that reason alone, I truly believe Shannen would have allowed the DVD"s to be released. I hope that you find what you are looking for.

she is addicted to 24, and she is not in it.
And she was once in Charmed, and she could have gotten back, cos she got many requests.

She might not have been at the launch of the dvd's but she still gets money for dvd's sold from season 1-3.

But besides that she always has said that Charmed was a closed book for her. Besides that if i see the quality from charmed 4-8 compared to 1-3 i can easy understand why she doesnt want to be reminded of it

I see no difference between the qualities

There is a difference in quality between the Prue & Paige years and its all to do with the writing and general direction, it become more comedy and had more silly storylines (fairies, mermaids, leprachauns etc) when Shannen was on the show it was more serious and dark.

btw I too saw Shannen next to the Season 2 DVD on last years Avid Merrion Xmas special, it looked like she'd signed it for him aswell as the Heathers DVD.

indeed, shannen's era was better
so, has anyone bought the dvds ?
