i thought in the episode where prue, piper and phoebe go to fight the water demon he dies in order to save them and stop history repeating itself.

the elders made him a whitelighter again...and he failed again and disappeard 4 a long time...the only wat to find him was by a femily member...so the elders sent Paige to find him & she did
