How Prue SHOULD have died!!!

I know that something happened resulting in Shannen not coming back for season 4 of Charmed, but I know not the exact 'why'.

Was it Shannen that said "I don't wanna come back, kill Prue off" or was it some one in the crew of Charmed that said "Prue has to be killed off".

I put it really simple, but I know that it was a long process...
Please, if anyone could explain it to me, I would be forever grateful.

I must say that I think Shannen wanted to come back, but she wanted something she didn't get and therefore didn't come back.

my season 9 would go ...... the charmed ones are rewarded for all their hard work that the elders brought prue back to life ....but then something went wrong and paige and phoebe were stuck in some freaky dimensions and prue and piper have to save them....and the story would go on

but what about Billie?

I haven't seen season 8 yet, but I know Billie lives through the end of the show...

Maybe it's an idea for a Charmed movie.
A season would be too big... they'd have to introduce a new antagonist...

But if it were to be the case, Paige finally gets to meet her big sister

I think they should've sacrificed Christy, and bring Prue back.
And then The power of 4.

I think that we should have at least saw Leo trying to heal her!!! It would be a kind of closure for Prue fans...

Brad Kern shouldn't have skipped the part where Leo heals Piper then goes for Prue...Prue didn't have a proper death...which I think shows that Brad must have been ticked at Shannen to have giver her character such a crappy exit. Prue was ONE of three MAIN characters...and her death only lasted for not even a minute!!

I'm not trying to belittle the death but come on....Pru was blasted through a wall and died...Piper was blasted through a wall and lived...and anyway, that wasn't a "great death" the writers gave her...being blasted through a wall...I just think she deserved better.
