She said that when she first heard that the show was being made she had no intention of playing Brenda again. The only reason she came back was to say thank you to her fans for supporting her for 27 years. We're lucky that she felt she needed to do that, not a lot of people would. I guess she thought four is enough for her, considering she said that she wouldn't play Brenda again.

And she said that she didn't want to do the love triangle thing because it was too tiring to play and she wanted to do something different with Brenda

I don't know. We may see her guest star in one or two episodes afterwards but I have no idea. I think she'll be looking for new things to do
