90210 is getting a new address while basically staying in the same zip code.
Starting March 3, the CW is moving 90210 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, which will eventually get it out of the valley of death that is any time slot opposite American Idol. Just to be prudent, the first four weeks in the new time period--when Idol is still doing some two-hour shows--will be reruns. Original episodes will resume on March 31. By then Idol should be back into its single hour format.
The arc of 90210 episodes featuring Tori Spelling will begin April 14.
Reaper has drawn the short straw. The second year series will return at 8 p.m. Tuesdays--opposite American Idol—on March 3. All 13 episodes will air, the CW says, a promise it should be able to keep since the network can’t go dark and it became clear a long time ago that it doesn’t hold high hopes for the clever series about a family’s deal with the devil.
Privileged will air for the final time this season—probably forever—on Feb. 24. There also will be reruns on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.—another Idol suicide mission--through Feb. 18.
America’s Next Top Model, which has been able to keep the lights on against Idol—launches its new edition on Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.
