On a German side I have read that Shannen is not available for the second season any more, she has given to the fans what they wanted.

Moreover, the new producer wants to concentrate on the new people.

Is this really true?

But it would fit to Shannen, before she get fierd, she quits....

she's still in season 2..i read it on E! online..and in fact i saw some paparrazi photos of her in 90210 set!

dont worry..she's coming back..until she and dylan met again.. dylan is sure will not comeback but brenda...of course!

Season two ? I don't even think they've started filming yet so I'm not so sure about that but I can see Shannen maybe returning for an episode or two if she's not too busy for the second season. I'm not so sure she would be feeling so up to all these reappearances but due to her relationship with AnnaLynne, I think that's a bit of a pusher for her.

I don't think she will be coming back guys. Someone posted an article on imdb.com here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001147/board/flat/136470199 where she says she's 100% behind the new producer's plan to focus more on the new cast.
It will be sad without her but I respect her decision. I think it's a pretty good article too.

But Jennie is comming back so there is still hope that Shannen might be in a few episodes.

I wouldn't trust IMD. Shannen's statements could have been taken out of context. As far as I know, Rebecca Kirchner, executive producer, stated ",I honestly feel that interview might not have reflected my real feelings [on the topic]. I’m not interested in casting people just for stunt value. I’m not interested in looking at it like, oh my God, that’s Madonna walking across the screen. If Madonna wants to play someone’s mom at the school, that’s fabulous. To me, I really care about the new generation of kids, that’s where my heart is, but I think all those people [from the original series], it’s been an honor to work with them and I’m open to any of them [returning]. I just don’t want to do it for stunt value or shock value. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to [use the vets again]. If someone falls into the world, I’m all for that.


That statement tells me if Shannen wanted to return, then she can.
