The movie is about a young beautiful nurse who is really physically active(Shannen). Who falls for a rich handsome man, who seems to be the man of her dreams. Until she finds out he's married and crazy. He starts abusing her, when he finds out she's pregnant. She loses the baby because of him and when she tries to get away from him, he puts her through hell in her life, and if that isnt enough he tries to have her killed. He puts a hit on her and they shoot her at point blank in the back, and it doesnt kill her but it paralyses her from the waste down. Where she's in a wheel chair. The doctors tell her she'll never walk again, but she's dtermined to fight it, and she does and she eventually does, and she gets to participate in a marathon she was training for, and she marries the man who helped her recover, and the jerk that tries to kill her I think he gets caught in the end. I'm sorry if this is to long but i loved her in this movie and it was sad but I like when people are determined like the character she portryed in this film. Shannen was excellant.
